So... i've got an RS4 airbox and i am trying to figure out a way to activate the intake flap.

Should i just gut it or can somebody think of a fun/interesting/useful way of making it functional using the M-box?

Maybe the same way a meth kit works where you have a boost referenced controller that opens the flap at/over a set boost level?  Wayy back in the day my first car was a '92 Taurus SHO, it had 2 sets of intake runners on the intake plenum and butterfly valves that would open with a valve that would send vacuum to them over 4000k rpm.. was pretty interesting for a car thought up back in '89..

I figured out the ESKONF bit pair for it, and phila confirmed it, but That won't help. The map doesn't exist in the M-box software to activate it. If you switch to RS4 (like I am, we can do it together-no homo-lol) I'll help Smiley

I'm using it to activate an exhaust cutout.

vehicle speed from ECU Pin 54.
run into circuit-relay which activates solenoid above relevant voltage level.
probably just wire in the oem stuff and switch to k-box.  heh

Just remove that flap and the trumpet from the airbox and forget about it.

Byte2 (10C76 in the M-box)

Stock value=FC (11 11 11 00)
N335 Diagnosis active=F0 (11 11 00 00)

I needed it because I plan to run the K-box and use the solenoid output to open an exhaust dump Smiley
