hey, my MSHFMTP goes up to 2058kg/h which is 571.67g/s. im wondering whats the reading limit on bosch 079133471 maf (s5 4.2). initially i thought a 364g/s cap was due to vcds logging but i just got vehical and it shows the same value as max. is this an ECU cap?

The real question is which value you are logging.
There is probably a single byte value and a word value.

Basic obviously has diagnostic limits.

from what i gathered, every maf measurement block variable is capped at 364. so the only way to actually get it would be to map the actual mshfm_w address and log it directly. if i ever manage to disassemble this thing i will post something here Smiley

You don't need to disassemble, just pay and use VehiCAL advanced and you'll be able to log it!

I have no logs because I have a boost gauge (makes things easier)

quick feedback, advanced mode is working beautifully, and im getting  ~17 reads/sec without patching.

sadly, it seems the problem with max maf reading was not the actual variable limitation, as even logging straight from the var in vehical, i get a max of 1313.1kg/h for mshfm_w (=364.75g/s) and 160.148 for rl_w.

any tips here? maf scaling goes up to 2058 kg/h in MSHFMTP. is it the actual maf thats limited to 1313kg/h then?
