Hey. Been having problems with fitting a different ecu in my friends car. Its a 2001.5 S4 w/APR Stage 1 93 octane tune. Car was a Auto/TIP.

Now the car is a 6-speed swap. And a few upgrades like k04s exhaust etc. So he wants a tune to his needs with proper deletes done. So I cooked him up a file based off NVR Tune posted in tuned section.

Problem is the APR ecu works car boost 15psi before and after swap and runs the 6speed. Now we already recoded cluster but can not recode ABS cause he said module is bad. No login in codes work that I have and can't recode at all.

Now we put a flashed NVR m2++ box file in that requests 20psi or so the post says and all we can get is 5psi. Only code we get is p0113 I think air temp sensor. So I flashed another m box file nothing 5 psi. I even made a stock m box nodded it for his setup but all he gets is 5psi.

Now he also has another s4. All stock auto/tip and its a bosch maf car idk what year I'm a A6 guy idk the s4's info as much. We flashed that car with a few tunes and they all made power and more then stock psi but that car has no boost gauge. I also ported the Hitachi NVR file over to Bosch and it ran fine on Bosch car.

What's the problem. The 2 ecus work fine in Bosch car with Bosch maf but if we flashed them to a Hitachi file and put in Hitachi car only 5psi. But a tip/auto Apr ecu works fine in a 6 speed swapped car. Any idea what we are missing or what I should be looking for as a issue?

sorry no logs i was only near my friends house for a half hour or so to flash another ecu for him cause he converted his 2nd S4's MAF so I did that while in the area and he wanted me to load a stage 2 file to his upgraded S4 and I flashed a custom file I put together and NVR Stage 2++ Rev2 M box and got no boost. I told him to fix his like 5-6 DTC codes and I'd come back. I know he had a code for a EGT also. He just keeps saying well the APR tuned ECU runs fine. So next time i'm in the area I'll take some logs.

you may need to swap the eeprom file also.
