Hi!

I am opening this topic as I couldn't find any specific information around Motronic module 7.5.20 (03C906057CA) for vag 1.6 bts engines. As far as the ecu goes it does not have a specific flash chip. It uses ST10F275 micro controller with integrated flash.

I know that for flashing it I need to put it into a boot mode.  MPPS software instructs to connect pins P04 and P05 via 200 OHM resistor to ground to enter boot mode. As on the other hand micro controllers datasheet instructs connecting only P04 to ground to enter bootstrap sequence.

I already tried both solutions but can't get ecu to boot mode. So if anyone has experience with this configuration a hint on how to would really help!

These ECU doesn´t have external flash...

Thanks for help and fast response! Cheesy The last picture is correct as the pin P05 gets pulled up to 5V and pin P04 is pulled down to the ground.


From ST10F275 datasheet (Bootstrap section):

Decoding of reset configuration (P0L.5 = 1, P0L.4 = 0) selects ST10 standard bootstrap
mode (Test-Flash is active and overlaps us
er Flash for code fetches from address
00'0000h; user Flash is active and available for read and program)

Which interface/software can be used to work this ST10Fxxx based ECUs? can be worked by OBD2 port?

None has OBS option afaik

Anyone have a damos or map pack related with ME7.5.20? In a near future I will like to look in a VW 2.0L 06A906057A 0261201637 ST10F275 ECU and some info that help me to start will be great. Right now I do not have that ECU to look at.
