after doing some file tweaking i performed my checksums with ME7sumGUI and when it said it was all fixed i flashed it into the ECU. well... its not bricked but the checksums are off and now i need to bootmode it. So what i did was fire up ME7sum, Nyet's tool, and it found 9 errors in the file AFTER i rechecked it with ME7GUI. performed ME7sum on another couple of files i did and found errors the GUI version missed. Any comments on this? anybody else done this?

The GUI only fixes the errors in ME7.1 binaries. What is yours? Did you click the FIX button?

Gotcha and yes i did click the fix button. It was on an 551Lbox ecu still a bit new at this so not sure what version it is.
