Turboat posted it in post 26 of this thread:

Try using the latest version of 95040tool, availible in the bottom post on this thread: http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=6134.msg62009#msg62009

use it like this:
95040tool.exe --in new_cluster_dump.bin --pair your_ecu_eeprom.bin --out paired_cluster_dump.bin

cheers guys.

glidn - if you have any comments, bugs, etc, please post them in the 95040tool thread. It currently doesnt work with immo2 bins, which is in the pipeline, and seems to report 'bad checksum' for some virgin reads - I'll be working on this when I have some time spare.

it's taken me ages to find this little gem, I just realised it won't work on immo2 after spending ages trying to virginise my ecu and dash with new rfid chips.

Biggest problem for me is i dont have the immo tag from the original dash as i have upgaded to a later dash pod and set it to immo2 on adaption channel 60.

I am struggling to edit in hex as i'm dead old,LOL

Previous cluster saw the keys but the me7.5 ecu that i changed to over m5.92 had to de immo'd to allow it to start, i'd ideally like to get it all paired up and an immo working now i have later ecu and dash.

Any help anyone can give would be appreciated

Or shall i start my own thread?

Start a new thread for this one, I'm unbelievably hungover so struggling to think through the situation, but fairly sure you will be able to get it working. I have a immo 2 version of eepromtool in progress, but Ive not properly tested it yet.

Edit: just seen your thread.

I've same issue: could not swap immo3 to immo3 cluster.
Old one cluster was Motometer, new one is vdo...
Using standard adaptaion 50 channel - say wait and nothink happend. Cluster do not match to ecu...
May be someone knows where located in motometer dump these 7 bytes for matching cluster to ecu? Some other info like adopted keys as I understand located in vdo immo 3 dump (cluster 9208x6) at addresses 20-27 and 40-47.
Dumps of motometer and vdo are attached.

Why I am not read ECU? It is Marelli 4MV ECU in the car and I could not find tool to read it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

In continuation with my previous post above: problem solved!
I have found 7 Bytes in Motometer dump based on Bosh dump.  Wink
There are adresses from 10 to 16 in dumps of 1J0920806 clusters by MM/Bosh.
Pasted these 7 bytes to vdo dump  in 3 areas and after that key learning done successfully.
Hope it helps somebody.
