Extremely new to this.  I was told ME7logger was a far better means of troubleshooting issues.  So I found a guide on Audizine.  In my search for a .bin for the car, I found you can read your own.  After trying to read the file, the car wouldn't start.  Now I am attempting to find an ECU file for my car, so I can flash it in boot mode. (from what I have gathered that is the only way to solve this problem, short of replacing the ECU.) 

So the leads me to this, can anyone help me find the .bin for a 2003 VW Passat 1.8t AWM automatic?  ECU number is 4B0906018DA 0261207 931 1039S01226.

Any help would be appreciated.  I hope that I haven'e FUBARed my ECU, and I can recover the stock tune.

Have you tried to read a tuned file ? it can be the cause of bricked ecu I think.
