Hey guys.
Just did a 2.7T swap in my B6. Used a 2005 Allroad 2.7 With a 4Z7907551T ECU.
I can change the soft coding to A4 or A6 to get ride of the leveling error code but I would like to change over to the R file for better support.

On nyets it it has the listings but in my experience I have found discrepancies with the listings.

4Z7907551R  03 0261207769-1037-366370-A4.0.2  tip NA  ar BEL (ME7.1.1) + 04 a6
4Z7907551S  03 0261208288-1037-368391-A4.0.2  tip NA  ar BEL (ME7.1.1) + 04 a6
4Z7907551T     0261208484-1037-369096-A4.0.2  tip NA  ar BEL (ME7.1.1)
4Z7907551AA    0261208538-1037-369097-A4.0.2  6mt NA  ar BEL (ME7.1.1)

I have personally found the....

"S" in 6-speed and TIP cars
"T" in 6-Speed (My ECU)
"R" in a TIP
"AA" in a TIP

Which is contradictory to the list above.

This is why I'm confused if the "R" can be used in a 6-Speed.

Thanks for the advice

All BEL files have multiple coding possibilities. Whether it be auto, manual, A6, or Allroad, the same file is used. The 4 coding variations are:

07712 (manual a6)
07752 (automatic a6)
07755 (automatic allroad)
07715 (manual allroad)

I don't recall being able to code them non ESP, so this should be fairly complete.

Nice thanks Daz.
I think the R is a 265Hp file and the T is a 250Hp.
Not that that matters but I would rather have the R on there for the support.

Thanks again

Thanks for the tip.

As daz said, all BEL files are cross-codeable. My listing is NOT canonical, only a list of things i've gathered from others.

In the BEL case, they are only a listing of the cars I was told others had found the various ECUs in. If you've found other errors, let me know.

I'm not surprised you've seen BEL ecus in both 6sp and auto.

Lifting an old thread

Is it possible too run 551K or 551M box in A6 2.7T Tip 2005 Allroad
As I have understood in WinOls there are 2 or 3 parallel map pacs in the same file (or some of the files) It could be used for Man, Tip, and Quattro.
So, that logic tells me maybe RS4 551K is not possible bc it was made only Man, but 551M could??
And there is this with Me7.1.1 vs Me7.1
Am i completelly wrong here??

ME7.1 and ME7.1.1 files are not crossflashable.
