On one of our older cars, it was possible to change shift points, line pressure, etc.
If any, which parameters and characteristics can be changed on the Tiptronic?

I am on my way to test drive some A6 and Allroad today with a friend, and Tiptronic vs. manual is one of the open points (2.7T vs. 4.2 another). A tuneable Tiptronic would be a strong point.

Yes.

I believe a number of U.K. tuners will carry this out this work so I presume other tuners in different countries will offer a similar recalibration. I remember it being discussed in the context of the Audi TT 3.2 V6 tiptronic as part of an optimisation package for that naturally aspirated engine.

I don't have any further details but I'm sure a Google search will turn up something quickly.

There is a thread or two on this site regarding this. This service is also offered by GIAC and Vast.
