My cluster from A8L is dead, fuse blow.  Car start but after 1-2 seconds it dies.  Immo kicks in.
I bought other used cluster and question is if I can swap the eeproms from dead cluster to the other cluster and the component protection does not need to removed by the dealer ?  which cost 100 euro normaly.

I found this Eeprom on the cluster print circuit, see pic below.  maybe I must  swap behind the board a little chip ?  I have equipment to do it.
