« on: June 07, 2015, 08:34:29 AM »
Hey guys!
How can I change the description in the header of my ME7?
I want that my name is shown when I open the ECU with VCDS.
Like in following link, where stands 034 Motorsport

Tried searching for the string in the binary yet? It is obvious..
Don't forget null termination or string length bytes.

This is gimmicky and I don't like doing it-lol.
Nye is correct though, just search the string, put in whatever you want.

It will mess with some thing, like other logging programs and or checksum calculators because it wont recognize the ecu.
