Libs? Great attitude, man.  You're better off on one of the many diesel tuning forums.

If you can't find a tuned 1.9 pd file to compare against on the big wonderful internet then I suggest you give up now.

yah true you must be from Europe. here in the states we didnt had the pd until edc16. edc16 is still real old tho just saying the pd isnt as old to me as you.

OP:
google edcsuite. someone made a nice gui for tuning your alh. its free and has nice little features like adding launch control, deleting your egr and many maps for tuning, use mpps to read and write to your car. if you have another ecu you wanna play with and need a immo solution google "edc15 immo nefmoto" and you will find links that will help you with this.

Yup europe based so without spending time googling the ecu part number I assumed it was pd being 2003 golf mk4

Seems a lot of people coming here for files not wanting to do the hard bit of it

What makes you think a "definition file request" is what your post is?

Yes, they are dinosaur, but still nice to tune and easy to update with nossles and turbos Cheesy
Gearbox and clutch are limiting values, if you are looking for strong files.

Good files of these engine still charge theire amound, only crap can be fished free in net..
