Hi,

Hopefully a quick question for someone in the know. Is a normal kkl ftdi chip cable suitable for using Vag commander 5.5 or do i need a specific cable. Thanks in advance

Use 2.5, 5.5 doesn't have k-line support so doesn't work.

Use vag EEPROM programmer V1.19 instead, it's got a much more reliable connection.

Ah that's a shame haha! I had a look and it said kwp2000 as one of the options so thought it might work!

Thanks tho I'll check that out tomorrow and see if I can get it Smiley

Not sure anything can.  Got a death code?  I'm pretty sure it's easier to replace.
