I'm working through the various conversion niggles of my ME7 converted my A4 1.8TQS.

The ECU i've used is from a TT225, and the gear ratios dont match up with those in my A4. As such, cruise control doesnt work in top gear. A similar issue occurs with the S4 and a tdi6th gear, and i found a thread mentioning that.

The solution appears simple enough (in theory!), log nvquot_w in each gear, and set the nvquot1-6 tables in the ECU correctly. However nvquot_w doesnt appear in the listing in ME7logger, so i'm unable to log it.

Does anyone happen to know the ram location of this variable in my 018CB file? I wouldnt even know where to begin finding this myself!

The tables also arent defined in my XDF, but thats a secondary issue to actually getting the ram address and logging what the data should be!

ORI for my file is here: http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=2156.0

Cheers

Hmm, i've spent the morning playing with IDA and found this:

https://db.tt/z2DI8mo3

Which looks like the same function prj posted here:

http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=4979.msg51392#msg51392

and suggests nvquot_w is actually at 0x381C18?

Thaughts? Have i cocked something up?

Hi yes, you are correct. Sorry. I was using two IDBs to compare and I posted the address from the wrong one. I've updated the original post. 0x381C18 is the correct address.

perfect. Did some logging today and got the correct values. Just need to adjust the appropriate upper and lower limits according to the logged values Smiley
