i have seen all the talk about doing MAF delete's and such and wondered if anyone ever tried messing with setting the MAF in a boost pipe instead of before the turbo. i've seen the DSM guys running corvette MAF's in the boost track with a translator box so there isnt that bottleneck before the turbo. just a random though.

Here you go: Grin

A lot of the discussion was for 2.7, but it's a good start. Maybe you saw it already? Hope that helps. IMO, the only reason I could see doing a blow through would be to clear out some space in the bay which makes sense.

like i said before, i thought about it because of the fact that it is like a bottle neck if your running a large turbo. move it into the boost track where air is goin to get forced through it no matter what.

The BMW guys seem to have no problems doing a blow through setup with a regular Bosch MAF sensor & housing (I believe it might be from a Porsche though).
