Im looking for the location of MSLBAS and where ESKONF starts in the 551R bin.  I dont know how to find a small scalar like that. There is a lot of info on the 551L box on the s4wiki but nothing for the later 551s and r boxes that are much different.  Roll Eyes

551R is fully defined. Just have to do a bit of searching around here.

Nyets xdf for 551r didnt have it i searched around and got it. However I'm struggling with the ESKONF part of things. Someone posted that the 551L has ESKONF at 0x10C75 to 0x10C82. That is "00 FC E3 FC 0C 00 C3 FF AA FA 55 55 55 FF" In the 551R Bin i found the similar sequence "00 F0 B0 FC CC 33 F0 FF AA  FA FF FF 33 14"  at 0x1039C. In front of MLHFM. Now Im supposed to have 13 bit pairs but theres 14 pairs here...do i not count the first pair? Once i located the start of eskonf i feel confident i can edit bytes 5 and 6 to 00 SLV and SLP to unplug my SAI Pump. And what do the extra bytes that the 2.7s have (13 rather than 7) serve as a function? I only see a breakdown in the 1.8 7 byte eskonf anywhere...? Thanks for your help

ESKONF is at 0x10C86 and 0x110C93 (there are 2 strings, 13 bytes each). None of the bit pairs match the 1.8/posted configuration.

Bump from the dead.

Excuse me because I have not yet compared the ESKONF in this file to other ME7.1 files, but do the bit pairs in this 7.1.1 ECU match those of 7.1?

I also have not compared the two ESKONF strings in the 551R to each other, but are there just two ESKONF for different variant codings?

In conclusion, I didn't do shit, and was hoping you all wanted to give me a handout. Smiley

ME7.1.1 is different from 7.1. What do you need disabled?
