Has anyone done "soft" launch control (when the car is stopped, clutch and accelerator pressed to keep the revs at a set rpm, say 3500) for the me383, is it possible ? Could one of the 30 rpm limiter be used for this ?

I have seen some people do it with a soft LC using a WOT Box but one thing is a soft LC and another is a hard LC that generates boost too. |

Did a soft one on a later ME7 Tip the other day, would have thought me3 not too dissimilar? Think these are a pain to define/get info for though aren't they? What's different in them compared to the later ones, should be able to work it out if you have a decent def file? Should be one in the new def threads? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQSKUm73f7s |

I have a very well defined file for m3.8.3 But problem is that i have no car to test it on yet.. maybe in spring time.

I have a very well defined file for m3.8.3 But problem is that i have no car to test it on yet.. maybe in spring time.
M3 or ME3? Both would probably be done in the same/similar way - they all have temp sensors and rpm maps, just different map names and layouts if anything. Shouldn't be too hard if you have it defined. There is a very good def. file for the me3.8.3 on this site, but they are quit different to the ME7.
For the me3.8.3 ? Care to share ?
share? i dont even know you. you could have at least gotten me drunk first and then tried to take advantage of me.  |

I think that maybe some useful variables and maps for that are inside SA_WE: A174. 50 Schubabschalten/Wiedereinsetzen. For example TLSN, TTMOT & DTSA.
