Hi
I'm going to change ECU from NB to WB lambda on my A6 APU 2000 engine.
Old bin: 4B0906018AA 0006.Bin
New Bin: 4B0906018CA_X003.bin

The new bin is for coils without ICM ignitition driver stage and have different ZUE settings in the ESKONF.
I'm keeping my old coils and ICM.
Apart from changing the DWELL table to match my coils, what should i set the ZUEs to in the ESKONF?
Leave them as is or change them to match my old bin?
I havent figured out what the (10) ESKONF bitparis actually means, anyone knows?

As far as i know each should be 00 or 11

BTW what tool creates that output?

Yes, 00 or 11 is the normal.
00=enabled
11=disabled/not used
but then we have this 10=enabled but with something special what not?!??

It's a bit odd that all four ZUEs are 11 in my old bin (disabled), and in the new one they are 10.
I guess i can always just try and see but i know there are several of you guys out there that has already gone trough this and know what works and not.

The tool i'm using is a special Robert Bosch Gmbh internal tool to analyze the ESKONF that i bought for 200Euros from a russian underground kid.

Nah, just kidding it's my own little c-prog that searches after a set of 7 bytes thats obey to the ESKONF setting rules/logic and lists them with the individual bit-pairs printed out in clear.

There is almost always 2 sets of ESKONF bytes and often a third set that matches the rules, i don't think the third one is a real ESKONF setup, they just happens to match the logic.

Yea, i always 00 or 11, i have never done 10. Not sure what it would do. I'd have to disassamble the ESKONF decoding. Maybe prj knows.
