New on this issue, have a '01 A4 1.8T ME7.5 8E0909518 AVJ engine with stock "everything" as far as I know.

I'm able to read ECU-info via ME7 ECU Flasher, but when trying to read full flash, I'm getting error messages (se below)

ECU-info read:
Read 5 ECU info entries:
0x92, System Supplier ECU Hardware Number: 0261206869
0x94, System Supplier ECU Software Number: 1037354008
   0x91, Vehicle Manufacturer ECU Hardware Number: 0x0D, 8E0909018   , 0xFF
   0x9B, Calibration Date: 8E0909518   , 0001, 0x03002DB5, 0x32393332, 0x3837, 1.8L R4/5VT    ,
0x9C, Calibration Equiment Software Number: 0x82060C00

ECU full flash:
Requesting security access.
Security access granted.
Validating flash memory starts at 0x00800000 and ends at 0x00900000.
Validation failed, ECU reports RequestUpload service is not supported. RequestUpload may have been disabled by aftermarket engine software.
Memory layout validation failed.
Starting to read data block.
Requesting upload from ECU for address range 0x00800000 to 0x00803FFF.
Request upload from ECU failed, ECU reports service is not supported. Request upload may have been disabled by aftermarket engine software.
Reading ECU flash memory failed. Trying to force ECU to recognize read operation is complete.
Finished forcing ECU to recognize that failed read operation is complete.
Reading ECU flash memory failed.

Having tried "everything " to get to read the full flash by changing baud rate, tries fast / slow init, but no success.

Question is: Is it possible for me to flash the ECU with a stock ECU-bin file to get access to logging the ECU? And if so, where can I find a ECU bin file that is compatible?

Haven't been able to find a stock ECU-file for 8E0909518 anywhere, is it possible to use other revisions?

I also have 2 spare ECU's with same part number but revision A and B, could these be "swithced" with the stock one, if re-programming IMMO?
Also want to delete SAI in this car, so if anyone have a MAP with this deleted, please give me a hint Grin

Appreciate good hints and tips...:-)

It's been mapped by the looks of it.  Could try flash over it, but they might have blocked that too.  Bootmode.  Don't cross-flash random files.

Still want to delete SAI in the BIN-file for 8E0909518 ECU.
Can't find this anywhere as a "final" bin, does someone have the XDF for 8E0909518 so that I can reprogram the original BIN to delete the SAI (as described in S4Wiki..)?
