I have an VW Golf mk4 1.6 16V AZD 105CP.

Ecu Marelli iAw 4MV sw version 3957

Last week i have tried to read ECU with my fg tech but wont work. I have a friend with Kess V2(clone) ibut working pretty good at another ECu and never maked it problems. After about ~30mins of tries, we have succesfull read my Mk4' Ecu(35 minutes to read)! How we read: We have set Kess at Speed : Maximum and Resistance : 500Ohm. And then we have read ecu. Default it.1 1Kohm and don.t read ecu.

Now, i want to ask you what it.s your opinion.
He modded map, and i  want to go at him to write modded file in Ecu. But, i am little scarred: can it be blocked in write? You have tried yet? I dont know if marelli iaw 4mv can be Only read or Read and Write. In kess appears my type of ecu Marelli iAw 4mv supporte Read and Write OK but i am affraid to try a little. On the kess v2 car list , this ecu is not present. Wierd.
