My 5 cents - ME7.9.10 is speed density by design (as most gasoline Fiat family ECUs), probably a good source for working and tested code.

It can be done by replicating 7.9.10 setup, but it's like 5 times more work.
Way easier is to interpret how it works and mod the code accordingly.
