Recently I had to extract the SKC code and I used VAG Commander to do so.
I made the mistake of clicking the "Immo Off" button in the same window and after the key was cycled, the cluster doesn't come up and I can't connect to the ECU.
My guess is that the wrong blocks gotten written over on the ECU and now it won't boot properly or communicate with the cluster.

Anyone dealt with a similar issue?
Buying a used ECU to try to recover the SKC and add my existing key fobs.
Done using VAG Commander to write anything!

When I get the additional used ECU, would it make sense to read the bin using ArgDub's ME7 reader and then write the file to the original ECU? I have the SKC for the orginal ECU.
