I recently did a soft cut limiter on an Audi TT 225hp H letter ecu. I did it all according to s4wiki, but no fuel cut, only steady rpm holding at 4.5k just like normal TDI Cr limiters...

What could be the issue?

You have a lot more reading in front of you my friend Smiley

Be careful with the cars you are modifying for now.

How can you tell? I am just asking simple questions that don't decide my abilities. Like... I've read ALOT about ME7 structure and alot of different approaches to tuning, limits and everything about 1.8T, 2.7T etc. I was just surprised as to why his ecu wasnt cutting fuel on soft launch method, also hes texting me everyday saying the cars running better everyday (reason why I asked the second question).

Everyone has to do a lot of reading, including me, however most cars I've done with thorough logging and at least 5 versions before the final one. They have all turned out safe and powerful. BUT I agree, I do have stuff that I can learn everyday thanks man!

The comment was not meant to offend just a word to caution Smiley

There are adaptations made as more driving is done.
Have a look at groups 32 and 111 for starters and note how far off 0 these fields are.

There is an economics term for this, having nothing to do with tuning.
