Post it up. Just wondering if the 032hn is similar enough to run on your ecu and if so there's a damos for that image. Might be worth a try.

I had a quick look I definately think it's worth trying the flash from the 032HN. A because I think it might just work for you and secondly there is a Defination file available for the HN on here.

If you flash the file and it fails you can at least just flash it back to standard. I would personally get a copy of the eeprom as well just in case you get a DTC which wont start the car, you can then just put it back to identically the same as it was before you started.

obviously do this at your own risk. ;-)

I am not familiar with obtaining the eeprom file.  Would you be able to elaborate on this process?  Also, I believe this car has an immobilizer.  Will that have any affect on performing these procedures?

Thank you for your help!

I just saw this http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=1511.msg14380#msg14380

The HS was also used on the Jetta and that has certainly been sucessfully flashed with HN with no issues reported.

As for the EEPROM / immo, you can use argdub's tool to read it but you shouldn't need to do anything - it is likely to work with the new flash image. The risk isn't 0 though Smiley

I was wondering where I could find the definition file for the 032HN.  (search only returns my own post)
