Hi guy's, I've had this on my mind for a while now and I honestly don't know what the answer is, so I thought I'd just put it out there and ask for some opinions on the matter.
I maybe way off the mark here, but as I said I don't know. It seems to me that when knock occurs and it's shock wave, for want of a better term, is transmitted through the block to the knock sensor. The knock, if you like, would be a harder one through iron than it would be through aluminium. Is this the case? Or is there no difference at all?
And if it is. Is there a difference in the sensors and there signal sample windows?
All the very best guy's O.T.
