got mk4 gti with what sounds to be me7. Was just wondering how complicated this self tuning might be? decent mechanical skills, but limited computer skills and technical aspects. Please share your thoughts

You can learn computer skills along the way. As long as your willing to put in the time and work to do research you will be ok. Just make sure you read the fr and gather at least a basic understanding of it. Good luck

You need to do ALOT of reading to tune the ME7 ECU's propperly.
