Hi all, i need to find krkte on this file, can anybody help me? Anybody have damos or something else? I cant find that and i have 630cc injectors installed ... Thanks all  |

Hi.
I'm afraid I can't help locate KRKTE on this binary file, but if you're recalibrating the ECU yourself for the larger injectors, I just wanted to prompt you to consider the voltage compensation curve for your new injectors because it's likely to be different to the stock ones.
I'm just reading Engine Management: Advanced Tuning by Greg Banish at the moment and he covers the various subtleties concerning fuel injectors very well. Have a read of pages 37 and 38. Another phenomenon that needs to be be considered is spring-mass overshoot which results in a slight overfuel at short pulsewidths. He states "Most PCMs model the short pulse phenomenon with an injection time adjustment to the static flow rate model."

Your ECU SW number? Examlpe for reference: 06A906032T 0003 325761 KRKTE is at 18C9B, 8-bit value. |
