Can anyone make sense of the ecux ecu property files? Not the registration file, but the ecu files. i.e. vag100.ecu, vag102.ecu

I'd like to add variables I know the ram addresses of and change processed scaling of existing variables.

Thanks,
Rey

All I could figure out so far is that the variables seem to be aligned at the 0x100 boundary

I haven't really looked into it, but can ME7L use the ecux property files?
I have a pretty esoteric controller build (ATC) that happens to have an ecux property file.  Otherwise I'm stuck doing more disassembly to get the ram locations.

Does ME7Info not work with your bin?

It automatically locates alot of RAM variables. Much more than is available with ECUx.

sorry to get off topic, but it looks like ME7L worked for my bin..  it did spit an error out creating the file(likely because its only 512kb) but it looks like the variables are in the ecu definition file.  I guess I missed that important bit of info about capabilities ME7Logger!  I'll try logging something on the way home.

ME7L works with WinXP. In fact, it is developed under winXP (have a short look at the README.txt).
