Hi,

I have this question on my mind for a few years. Maybe it's due to lack of my knowledge. I tried to search answer to this question many times on the internet and in the FR as well but without success. Why does ME7.5 ECU request less boost in higher gears? Requested load is the same but boost request is lower.

Eg. in attached log picture:
2nd gear 1,27b
3rd gear 1,24b
5th gear 1,20b
- 176 Requested Load
- 3700 RPM RPM

Does this mean car requires less pressure to reach the same power at higher speeds? Is this based on physics? From MAF point of view, there is significant drop in flow/power between 2nd and 5th gear.

Thanks for explanation Smiley

Attach logs and not screenshots if you want anyone to help you.
