551K, RS4.

Open the 8D0907551K.ecu file.
Change the first line under [Communication] to Connect      = SLOW-0x00

Go to the car, and put the ignition ON, but make sure the engine is not started.

Now start the logger, it should connect.
Now you can start the engine, and it will be logging.

Works on my RS4 like this.

Hi,
thanks for the advice, I will check it later and let you know.
0x00 is a setting which is not mentioned in the basic setup, only 0x11 or 0x01. How do you know the setting then  Huh
many thaks in advance!!!!

If you read through the ME7Logger thread, you will find it.
Good luck.

Yes. Perfect. Smiley Smiley Smiley
it works. What a great tool! reduced to the baisc but with enough felexibility to adopt to the requirements.
I'm happy to use it!!
many thanks!
