Good evening,

I'm having a problem converting an Audi A3 1.8t to E85.

In fact, I modified the KFLF card and the FKKVS card, replacing the 1 with 0.85, but the car chatters at idle and backfires even though the mixture should be rich enough not to have a problem.

Do you have any idea to resolve the problem ?

Thank you in advance for your help

Revert this and read this page:
https://s4wiki.com/wiki/Tuning

You are completely lost, and risking your engine.

Good evening,

I don't understand why it has a risk for the engine since according to the s4 wiki, the KFLF map serves as a base injection map and the FKKVS map serves as an enrichment map for zones from 0 to 30%.

Furthermore, according to certain forum messages it seems to indicate that these two maps should be modified, perhaps I should also have modified the KRKTE map ?

revert your changes back to stock and just change your krkte by 30% because you need roughly 30% more e85 than on pump fuel.

Hi aef,

Thank you for your answer, I modified the KRKTE map going from 0.10311 m/s to 0.17000 m/s and the car works correctly, the lambda value is slightly too rich 0.986 instead of 1 but that does not seem pose a problem.

I still need to modify the KFZW/KFZW2 and KFZWOP/KFZWOP2 maps in order to add 4° of ignition advance.
