Im a noob, fast learner, but noob. Ive beep forum creeping and downloading rediculous amounts of these tools. I changed some things on this tune i dl off of here, like, from bosch to Hitachi, and set the NMAXDV to 7200, since my speed sensor likes to act up at times. First file ive tried to modify, and i checked one earlier i changed a lot of stuff on for checksums, and it failed. I start over change these two main issues, dl the plugin and read it wrong.
The bin file is compatible with this checksum algorithm.( I read that as it was good and i uploaded it. Fml.)
It's messed up and bricked my ecu. Cant connect. Im going to try to remove the power from the ecu while im at work tommorrow, i hope it works. i dont want to wait a week for a cable to come in to unbrick it. Anyone near VA Beach VA if this thing doesnt reset>?
Im emailing for this checksum fix plugin real version, and hopefully i will have my car running tomorrow.
Maybe you guys can look over this and tell me if i did it right? im pretty sure but any advance in knowledge would be nice.
I am running an S4 Mbox, hitachi MAF, Ko4 kit full engine gasket kit w/minor porting stock fuel cold air and manual wastegate bleeder set @ 22. I just put the engine back in a week and a half ago, and the original tune from this guy i dled from was pretty fun, im just ready for it to run even better.
