Anyone have a step by step for pulling your ecu .bin file  I'm trying to use me7 logger to log my car ......im pretty  stupid when-it comes to this stuff so if anyone has a "do this ,push this button "how to pull your own .bin file that would be great
..there doesn't seem to be ecu file for my car I need "4bo 907 551 t" so I'm trying to get it myself.......( My car is an Audi a6 2.7t tip 2001   apr stage 1)  Tia

Do you have access to a bench harness, so that you can extract the .bin in boot mode?

If he wants to try it, let him. We all started from scratch one time or another. If he breaks it he has only himself to blame, if he makes it, well, then we have a new learner in the community Smiley

If you dont have galetto you should get it before trying to mess around with the ecu. It will save you if you mess it up Smiley

Search ebay for galetto, and you will find some of them are very affordable. With this cable you can also extract the .bin from the ecu using the galetto software by putting the ecu in bootmode.
I know bootmode sounds scary, but when you try it you will find out it is pretty easy Smiley

If you search the forum you will find numerous threads explaining how to go forth extracting the info you need from the ecu.

I agree with Rick on this one. If you say that: "im pretty  stupid when-it comes to this stuff ", then IMO forget it, you have no business messing with the ECU.
