Hello everyone, i am new to this forum, and this is my 1st post.  i have a porsche carrera 2006 with a ME7.8 Swapped as a set.  the original units were flooded.  the owner of the car had replaced the modules as a set from another car.  the problem is that the car is a manual transmission and the installed set is form an automatic set.  the car starts but got the check engine light with bunch of codes.  i have tried to adjust the data manually with the PIWIS3, via OBD2,  but no luck.  after adjustments, the DME changes the data back to its original state.  if i read the DME, BOOT MODE, will i be able to adjust the data? like the vin, transmission etc? or any software out there that can do this?  i would appreciate the help and thank you in advance.
