I've had this ME7.1.1 ecu kicking around, I was messing with a while back trying to dump. Nothing I would do worked. I finally just used a ktag to dump the thing since its supported (claims at least?). I'm still not getting any usable dumps. I actually have 2 ecus and both behave the same, so I don't think it's due to a damaged board.

This is what I am getting with eepromtool:

C:\Users\****\Desktop\nefmoto>eepromtool_04.exe --in ME7.1.1_HW3-ebayecu.bin --force
Read in 2048bytes
EEPROM Status:
- Type: ECU_eeprom
- Version: Immo2
- VIN: 3VWEF71K27M158468 (VW Mexico 2007 - Golf and Jetta 5, 6, Mexico)
- SKC: 03362
- Immobiliser: On
- Checksum: Invalid Checksum
- Size: 2048bytes - 512bytes expected, check this is a eeprom bin
- Cluster Code: BF 35 DE 36 61 49 28
- P0601 DTC: not set
- Immo ID: VWZ7Z0G9049140
- Softcoding ID: 0003
- Tuner Tag: Not Set
- Flash Programming (successful): 4
- Flash Programming (attempts): 180

Here are the 2 ecus and a screenshot when dumping. Neither fill in the VIN/Engine info

If I try to use HWI (read somewhere to try that) Ksuite will detect this as a HWIII ecu and will not let me continue, so it is identifying the ecu correctly.
