I saw that the eprom was desoldering, the seller says that a chiptuner has chip the box, and after he put the stock file an lock the box to sell the car..

Boot mode on the bench must work. In car forget it.

Hi,

you say in the past the flash was desoldered.
So have a look to this, to ident it is the original AMD flash device.
It must be a AM29F800BB.

Some tuner desolder the original flash and change it to a similar Intel or a AMD x800BT one.
So you can't flash it over OBD or in boot mode, because the internal flash procedure for this different devices wasn't the same.

In the last years I have seen a few of this.

Thx for the Answer, RS4boost the eprom is the same as original, 24F800BB..
PRJ i work only with boot mode on the bench. I try with MMPS obd (usually it works fine), MMPS in boot mode , it's starting and at 3% failed, VagMe flasher i juste can Read, can't click on ''PROG", Nefmoto flasher doesn't work for me in kwp2000 mode its failed because of immobilizer and in boot mode its shutdown when i try to connect.

Desolder chip, reflash 29F800BB, then try flashing again...
Although boot mode should just work if you are doing everything right, because it does not matter what is on the chip.

Maybe try changing chip.

I don't understand why it doesn't work, i make new test:

Read 9040 OBD is OK , Write 9040 in boot mode is OK
Read 29F800BB OBD is ok , Read 29F800BB in boot mode is OK, Write doesn't work OBD or BootMode

Prj i can't desolder chip, i'dont have what to do this. Maybe i will contact someone to do it for me.
Thx
