Pop and bangs are not possible via switch? GOLF 5 GTI

Hey. I was told by a tuner guy, that my ecu can't have a pop and bangs via switch (Cruise control, AC)
Is it like, really not possible or just needs more work?

By AC it is possible just by calibration changes. Switching by Cruise Control requires some ASW changes.
