Hi, everyone.

I have an Mini Cooper and wanted to make easy to tune and etc, use Bootmod3 from protuningfreaks.

But my ECU / DME is locked, and cant flash using OBD port.



Says that need a Bench unlock. But we have "unlocked", read, write, in bench, using a SM2.
If I force Flash, the ECU "dies" and not work, dont show in ISTA (say corrupet file), and in BM3 show this.



As I live in Brazil, anyone here know, or dont want to know how and what to do.

Founded people that can unlock, but outside BR, and time and price and so on its high.
Besaides I want to know what need to do.

i found an internet solution for unlocking this ECU's and would like to ask if someone can confirm this is the way to go:

Find 91 10 00 26 F6 27 (around 0x2000)

replace with 91 10 00 26 82 02.

--> Bench flash file and done.
