all right i was successful in boot mode for re flashing stock DP Ori file that was so graciously supplied NOW ecu was supposed to be immo off did by me writing the ORI file did i just effect eeprom or will i be okay? hopefully ecu is not immo on now...

So i was going to ask about why said cm cl ecus did not work for 018D. But this answer my questions. I know that everyone is expected to put some effort in. But. I think some easier question answering could go a long way. If someone had just said in the beginning. I just needed a stock file and that. Cm cl weren't compatible due to a processor change. Then I would have understood. I still appreciate any help. And well I got -1 karma haha. Cheers

99% of the time immo off is done in eeprom not flash. So unless the previous file was a non immo file or had immo off in flash it still should have the immo off. Also, as said before you rally need to learn ecu generations for corresponding eeprom / flash combos, otherwise you will get codes for incompatible eeprom / incorrect configuration, possible bricked ecu after a few key cycles, or a odd IMMO issue from mixing files. Vcds > adaptations> 91 will show immo status
