To give a quick rundown:

He is on Instagram as @willitboost. Seems he has had his Pulsar running on it for a while! I've DM'd him yesterday, awaiting a response. There's a video on how he reflashed the ECU on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnpJFZFuZvM, one month ago. His stuff is on GitHub at https://github.com/WillItBoost/M744-Stand-Alone-ECU with the last update around three months ago. But no source code yet, which is what I'm very anxious to see (and fiddle around with!)

I found that this guy does some cool stuff for a living and seems respected in that community. I think some of you underestimated his abilities, as did I tbh, as I've not got much knowledge on OEM ECU's, but fair enough this guy got it working. I wanna run my dream build on this...

There is no need to open them (and damage the waterproof seal in the process) to flash whatever in.
On these old things are so many exploits to get code execution...
