Today, I completed the IMMO OFF for AL551. Then, I searched for "AL551 IMMO OFF" just to see if it was in demand and came across this post.

@projectLSaudiA4, you were close, but not quite right.

There are a few patches that need to be applied to remove the gearbox protection message. However, after 4–5 hours of work, it’s done—no DTCs, no dashboard errors, and a fully functional transmission without any IMMO adaptation.

Congrats! what car did you do yours on?

Great work Neuro. This is my first go at any reverse engineering which maybe wasn't the best place to start.

Does it work with 2MB flash? I have Part number: 1034420215 from 2012 a6 c7 (trans code: neu)
Also when it comes to CAN communication, is it as simple as hooking up VW CAN (so it can be swapped to any car that came with something like dq250? (edc15/16 MED7/9))

Cuz i done one dq250 swap with edc15vm+, i heard 6hp28 are as simple as DQ (no build in immo and only shifter and ecu is needed to get it working).
