Realy not the answer I was looking for, I have read lots of threads but I can't find a thread/post that will help me to understand the "art" of flashing.

Don't be on a hurry...On the top right you should see a list:  Dev Blog  Forum  Wiki  About     click on "WiKi"     Start at "getting started" under Overview. Read the whole website and trust me, take notes as you go, it will make things way easier.

If you have questions, be specific, and be sure to refer to the material you find confusing so it can be updated.
