As the cold weather sets in, I've noticed poor ignition for about 1-2 seconds while cranking.  I noticed if apply some throttle while cranking, this seems to shorten the rough start.

This is a stage 3 tune for a AWP 1.8T. (2003 20th anniversary GTI).  1000cc EV14 injectors.  044 fuel pump in-line.  My KRKTE and TVUB values appear to be spot on... 0.00 at idle and -0.1 at run.

I am trying to get a better understanding how the warm-up enrichment maps work.  Reading through the FR seemed to help a bit, but then comparing the appropriate tables between the 2.7T and 1.8T platforms really lost me.  For example, see the attached image of a FKSTT comparison between the S4 and GTI and TT225.  Why are the data points for the 1.8T so non-linear?

I'd like to adjust this map, along with KFWKSTT, but I'm not really sure what direction I should move the factor.  Plus I'm really lost as to why OEM would have a factor of +32 at -10degC while at 0degC there's a factor of only 0.045.  This makes me nervous to make any changes at all.  I'll see if I can somehow log whether or not I'm rich or lean during cranking (I assume too rich?), though the O2 sensor will be cold.

I thought this would generate more interest.  The 2.7T FKSTT seems to be predictable and consistent while the 1.8T FKSTT seems to make no sense at all.

try adding +1 to the adress you have for that FKSTT map, i.e if its located on 154CD, then make it 154CE

Oh man...  Undecided  Thank you!  That did it.

I have 3 different OEM 1.8T files with this error.  Glad I didn't try changing any values.
