Hi,

Have just made an read out from my 1.8T Me7.5 ecu..  Im trying to find the maps with WinOLS demo.. But hmm.. abit hard..  Im looking for the boost curve because i think my engine limps due to over boost from my new K04 setup...

It should be possible to find that map an increase rewuested boost cuvre to get rid of the over boost problems right ?

Please upload your file so other can help you.

there are multiple maps relative to your boost control, its not just 1 map.  There maps regulating "overboost" as well.

Is it an OEM K04 or a Chinese K04?  Reason I ask is that some of the knockoff turbos have small/restricted wastegate ports and there's no way to tune around the boost creep other than allowing it to happen and tuning FOR it.

@ Jim_Coupe :
Could you be so nice to inform us, what ecunumber (audi/bosch) and software revision you have read-out ?
And was this done via the nefmoto-software/cheap vagcom KKL-dongle ?

Thanks,

Pascal

Hi sorry for late answer..

My turbo is commie eBay turbo (chinese) And im also using a highflow tubular exhaust manifold and my head is the 1.8T large port head... so very good flow.
The bad flow throught the waste gate im aware of.. I ported the wastegate hole as much as i could and compared it to my K03 and mine is now even abit larger.. I also took the wastegate clock from the K03 because the china wastegate was abit harder.

Im using a KWP2000+  and it works fine so far..
I used VAGME7 flasher.. Shall i try you software instead.. will that fix it ?

I can run this setup fine with no oveboost now with my original K03 file... but when i dowload my K04 file that i got from a company the ECU cuts ign..  it cuts my ign arounf 0.8 bar..  I want to know how i can modify this.. so i think its my Ecu map that dont really like higher boost preassure.. I first thought is was my boost valve (N75) but i used a bleed valve to adjust boost to around 0.6 - 0.8 and that it dint like either.. tomorrow im going to replace the boost valve just to be sure.. but if that doesnt work i have very little hope..

heres an attached original file..  if someone could make this a K04 file i would be happy.. Ive been struggling with this to long now and  will soon give up this project.. Sad

Jim,

What Jason already asked you, is kinda vital info.

And also the dump from your tuned computer would be nice to skhare amongst us guys over here. Purely for educational reasons ofcourse.

The file you've putted over here, is that your original ecu file ?

Could you firstly specify the MODEL of the K04 you have ? There a few K04's. So we need to know in front of, to see what is possible and how far the tuning can go, as of power.

Most K04's are really updated k03's aka K03s.

Pictures or a reference-pic of the actual turbocharger you have, would be helpfull.

Thanks,

PvL

heres an attached original file..

Looks very much like stock when checking all "vital" tuning maps...  Wink
That file won't provide any sports car performance levels.  Grin

Ok.. I

Hmm can i get boost log from VAG-COM ?  have tried to find where boost pressure is in Measure blocks..

I just wondered
I have removed that arrrgghh !!! Secondary Air Pump system.. and those usless valves under the intake manifold are plugged. Think they are the N112 and N249. Could this have something to du with my ign cut problems?
