Hi everyone,

I'm digging on this subject to improve my maps (not so agressive) used on my daily 1.8t aum. I searched and read a lot about approaching KFZWOP values as a base timing map since no knock will occur with e85. As KFZWOP is supposed to be the optimal ignition angle, it could be a quicker for MBT. I want to improve the low loads parts for fuel economy purposes since I don't want to reach peak torque on the whole rpm band.

As anyone done that as a starting point ? Anyone logged it ?
Any advice regarding this subject ?

Thanks in advance.

Have you compared gasoline and e85 flame speeds? At least at wot the e85 is faster, if it is so also at part throttle then maybe KFZWOP is too much?
