8D0907558? - sorry, that's all the info that I know. Someone else may be able to look at it and know more.

I've seen alot of people asking for pre-Me7 stuff on here. I aquired this with upon payment to someone a while back, along with some other stuff. Just trying to spread the wealth. I'm unsure if it's been posted before, but I didn't see it. Hope it will help someone out. I have not had time to really look into it, I've been working on Me7 stuff myself...

Hi Rob,

Damn, this stuff happens to a lot of people... that they have to pay, for stuff that
is actually available on several spots on the net for free.
A shame. But nevertheless, thanks for the post-up.

What did you get from your supplier...  ?  Not a M5.9.2 file.. But with the aid of a
good tool (winols demo) you can search and find the defined maps from this
definition in the M5.9.2 and M3.8.3 files. You only have to sit back and spend lots
of hours makeing your own definition from this...  I'm busy creating a M3.8.3 definition
file. That should be reasonably the same as M5.9.2.
One factor works against me...  time.

Your bought file contains this string :

4B0907557B  1.8L R4/5VT MOTR HS D030261204806103735915755/1/M3.82/05/400700/DAMOS3N1/3N101-S/3N10101-S/150598

This means, it's a definition for the B-ecu, Revision D03.
Boschnumber     : 0261204806
Softwarenumber : 1037359157
Motronic             : M3.8.2
Damosfile-date    : 15-05-1998

If anyone can clarify the other bits in the string, please be so kind to inform us...

Cheers,

PvL

Yeah, I have no time either. That's what the file was listed as when I got got it in a pack. It lines up pretty well with a 557P box. The little time that I do have has been donated to "trying" to learn me7. Thanks for the reply.

Im new here but this appears (from the code 4b0 907 557b) from a European AEB 1.8t fitted to the A6. As such it will be the same (very similar) as the North American 557p box but without secondary o2 Sensor or evap leak detection monitoring. Hope this helps
