thanks again, i`m trying to source all the info i need to learn tuning.
i was once told by a master "you learn by doing", but first i need to gather and digest all the info which seems pretty much non existant on the m3.8.3 ecu. any info is in german, a language i find difficult to translate. Embarrassed
this is going to be a very long learning curve.  Huh
i have two good books.
how to tune engine management systems and a haynes book which is standalone based but comes with a simulator software.. Cool
again, don`t want to step on anyones toes by asking questions that may have been covered already etc. but search results  have been limited and it`s a case of not knowing what to search for.
This is a great forum and all the info ive come across so far is brilliant!
