Since I am swapping my old AGB engine for an AZR RS4 unit I want to use an RS4 F or K bin.
For that to work I need to deactivate the things my S4 doesn't have, most importantly Secondary O2 sensors and SAI.
From what I've read the best way to do this is to change ESKONF.
I've tried to search the forum for more info on this but came up very short of an answer.
Looking at the bins I've located something that may be ESKONF at adress 0x10B8B in the F bin and 0x10B70 in the K bin. The two problems I have with this is that the potential ESKONF values are identical between the bins, which I thought they shouldn't be, and the last three bytes are 55h which I thought not was a permissible value!?

Can anyone confirm if these are the correct addresses?
And if so, how do I interpret them?

If I were you I would use your stock file adjusted for MAF, injectors and turbochargers you are going to use...

0x10B70 for 551K is correct.
It takes a few cycles but try'n'error works fine for that.

My stock file is from a 512kb 551C box. Not very well documented and with a ton of parameters needed to be changed to match the RS4 engine....

It all depends what do you want to match... Which MAF are you going to use? Which injectors and what fuel pressure? Which turbochargers? Do you have everything from RS4?

If it is really everything including full RS4 inlet it might be easier to use RS4 file as a base.
