Hi Guys!

Could someone please advise me with the following issue?
I swapped my ECU M3.8.3 to ME7.5. Everything worked fine but I had "CAN gateway connection" error. So I decided to swap my instruments cluster to new(used) from a car with ME7.5. Now new(used) cluster is working properly but yellow immo lamp began blinking. In order to fix this I decided to adapt new(used) instruments cluster and did the following:
1. My battery voltage is 12.3-12.2V ;
2. Installed new(used) cluster;
3. Recode CAN -gateway in order to refresh list of the all devices;
4. Connect to 17-Instruments through VCSD;
5. Performed 11-Login with PIN code from installed cluster and yellow immo lamp stopped blinking (switched on);
6. And when I tried to do adaptation for 50 Channel I faced with "ERROR: 50 Channel are not available".

Screenshot of 22,23,24 channels is here.

So how can I overcome the error?
Thanks in advance!

Regards!

Forgotten to say: I use defeat immo EEPROM and I cleared all errors in all units excepting related to immo connection.

I believe you have to turn the immo back on to match the cluster to the ECU first.
And then match your keys.
After that you can turn the immo back off if you wish.

I have never tried this exact setup but I think that may be your issue.

This is 100 percent correct. You can't adapt the key without an activated immobilizer.

You need the pin from the cluster, then you can adapt te keys.

17-Instruments
Login
10-Adaptation
Channel 21 > Test > add new keys > Save

Immo light go out after 2 sec and al oke Smiley

Doesn't matter of the immo is on or off in the ecu..

In the measeringblocks you see that the ecu not talk to the instrumentcluster ( 022 block 2 ) Normaly must be 1, 0 could happen when the ecu is immo off, or disconnect the battery for a few seconds and try again.

Hi Guys,

I've forgotten update the topic.

I chose the easier way to solve my issue:
I uploaded the bin file from old instr. cluster with 240km/h speedo into my new inst. cluster with 270 km/h speedo and had rescaled the speedometer with WinOLS in old bin file for new instr. cluster.

I created WinOLS map pack for spedo and coolant temperature rescaling if someone need I can give this one.
