Hi, i need some help. I have the following ECU that is bricked but managed to flash the chip via Willem

 0261208055 1037366847 8N0906018BQ 0002 - BAM

But the problem is sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesnt that tells me that a chip(29f800bb) might be fried.

Firstly where is the software version located? On 29f800bb?

A friend is offering 8N0906018AG ECU which is :   Audi S3 EURO MY2001 1.8T 210HP 8N0906018AG S0003
Mine is :                                                       Audi S3 EURO MY2003 1.8T 225HP Quattro 8N0906018BQ S0002

Does my 2001 have electronic VVT cam chain motor ?
Are the ECU hardware the same except the software?

If they are the same will flashing a chip with BAM software work and return it to BAM 225HP?

And what will the soft coding be?

Thanks, your help will be appreciated!!

all BAM have VVT .
Your friend probably has an AMK 210hp it won`t work.I dont know hardware wise if these ME7.5 are the same.

Why dont you flash an ori first to test the chip ? .Use nefmoto software or if its not possible use Boot with Galletto I will attach a your ORI

AMK and BAM ECU's as well as engines are the same. Some people should check things they post before posting them as absolute truth on here.
